In the Czech Republic Act No. 185/2001 Coll., on waste, as amended, sets in Annex No. 6 'Basic and Risk Fee for Landfilling of both hazardous and non-hazardous wastes'.

This means for 2009 and following years a Basic Fee per 1 tonne of hazardous waste of 1700 Czech Koruna / 61 Euro. And a Basic Fee per 1 tonne municipal waste of 500 Czech Koruna / 18 Euro.

The Risk Fee per 1 tonne of hazardous waste is fixed to 4500 Czech Koruna / 162 Euro for 2009 and following years.

The Act on Waste is being revised in 2009 and it is expected that fee will be much higher in the future.
