Brussels - The European Commission has granted clearance under the EU Merger Regulation to the acquisition of joint control of France Plastiques Recyclage SAS (FPR) by French companies Sita France and Paprec Plastiques.

Sita France and Paprec Plastiques are active in waste recycling. FPR processes plastic bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
