Plovbdiv, Bulgaria -- According to Bulgarian experts, six branches in Bulgaria have the potential for growth regardless of the consequences of the crisis. One of them is recycling and treatment facilities sector. This growth potential is determined by the interest of the state and municipalities to build plants for recycling and treatment.

One of the major business events in the waste sector in Bulgaria is ‘Save the Planet’. It will be held in the period 28-30 March 2012 in Sofia. The event’s aim is to promote the latest technologies and find best practices to successfully manage waste in a cost effective and environmental friendly manner in South-East Europe. Austria is a focus country for the second time and will be presented at the Exhibition in an own Austrian Pavilion. Among the exhibitors there are Erema - Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen, IFE Aufbereitungstechnik, Recycling Bulgaria etc.
The high-level three day Conference will gather leading industry players to address and discuss challenges and strategies for waste prevention, waste management, landfilling and energy recovery. The organizer Via Expo has invited speakers from over 20 countries. A focus will be put also on the public private partnership as it is the best scheme used to finance recycling facilities and attract foreign investors.
The great business atmosphere together with discussions and round tables will generate professional contacts and knowledge transfer which will turn ideas into results.
